  27. Rec.arts.tv is a high volume newsgroup with a wide variety of discussed
  28. topics.  However, a few topics generate more traffic than others.  In order
  29. to allow those who use rn or some other method of pre-selecting articles to
  30. filter out (or save away) postings about these heavy traffic subjects, an
  31. abbreviation scheme has been created.  Please help out by starting your
  32. subject line with one of the following abbreviations when posting about
  33. these topics. For example:

  41. New abbreviations will be added as needed.  Send suggestions directly to
  42. me, and I'll add them to the list.  Objections to any abbreviations should
  43. probably be posted so that a consensus may be reached.  Old abbreviations
  44. will be deleted when no longer necessary.
